Belgian Taste: Pistolet Original

In a little street stemming from the trendy neighbourhood of Les Sablons, is a spot I recently tried upon suggestions by a fellow blogger.

Now, it's not the first time I've had a pistolet, as I buy it regularly at the bakery down my street.

But I've never had a pistolet with so many possibilities.

Pistolet Original offers a large selection of stuffed sandwiches, ranging from the more classical (ham, lettuce and cheese), to a bit more daring (here's looking at you Shrimp Croquette Pistolet).

The spot isn't very big but has a very cozy feeling about it. And during the more sunnier days, tables and chairs are set up right outside the shop, so you can soak up the sun while eating a tasty sandwich! What more could you want right? Well, the shop also sells a selection of products ranging from homemade mustards to truffle oil mayonnaise.
