Any other ice cream parlour in the world will not be able to erase the near life-altering experience of eating real gelato in Italy... But they can sure try!

So I decided to try this gelateria I've heard so much about from friends, and which I pass by every morning on my way to class.

My partner in crime and I decided to finally come and have a taste.

We immediately loved the interior's pops of colours and overall cosy feel of the place.

Now, in my haste I forgot to take a picture of all the gelato flavours available... I guess you'll have to check it out to find out!

Instead of just taking 1-2 scoops of ice cream, we decided to try the ice cream macarons that were quietly calling my name since the moment I stepped inside the shop.

We stayed somewhat classical when deciding on the flavours with Strawberry and Vanilla, with some Darjeeling tea for me.

Finally we got to tasting these bad boys and boy we were not disappointed.

We'll come back, at least to taste the other flavours of macarons available.
