Now, fried chicken is such a staple of american cuisine and a personal favourite of mine (let's agree to that one stereotype).
It's always good, it pairs amazingly well with almost any side you can think of and did I mention HOW GOOD IT IS?!
What you'll need:
6 pieces of chicken (your choice)
150ml of milk
200g of flour
1/2 lemon
1 tbsp of salt
1 tbsp of pepper
1 tsp of garlic paste
1 tbsp of mustard
1 tbsp mixed spices
Marinating the chicken with the lemon, garlic and mustard first was the best idea!
It added a bit of tanginess that was very welcome.
After marinating (between 30mins-1h in the fridge), I dipped the chicken into the milk then the flour, and repeated the process once more before dipping it into the frying pan.

Then you fry both sides until it has reached a beautiful golden brown, remove them and let them cool down on 2 sheets of absorbing paper.
Serve warm.
